What’s Coming Up…
Community Health Symposium
We will host a special Community Health Symposium on Saturday, May 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon here at the building. Four experts on mind-body connections, family health, nutritional health and health care for uninsured will share their knowledge with us. There will also be a panel discussion following.
Kids Fun Day
All our children (and their friends as well) are invited to another “Kids’ Fun Day” on Monday, May 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Family Room. There will be Bible stories, games, crafts, and more. Everyone is encouraged to bring a lunch with them for the event. See Shirley Cooper for additional details.
Denbigh walking Club
We are looking at what it means to live as a disciple today through the prism of the Psalms of Ascents (Psalms 122-134). We are using Eugene Peterson’s book A Long Obedience in the Same Direction as we look for hints for living as pilgrims and strangers in a world that makes that difficult. Join us every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. for this study.
