Middle School Camp Week

Categories: Church Activities

Another Middle School year at Camp Idlewild is in the books… and what a year it was!   Mr. Roger’s neighborhood was hitting on all cylinders!  We had as 17 boys and 16 girls and a Cracker Jack staff… and everyone seemed to have a great time.  There were Bubble-Ball battles, capture the flag wars, silly campfire songs (thanks Robert Lee), etc.  We even got to be the guinea pigs that tested out a brand new camp activity– “Human Foosball” (thanks Chris Langley).

And as far as we know, everyone made their “Great Escape” home on Saturday no worse for wear.  That was the theme for the week– “the Great Escape.”  We studied how God led Israel through Moses out of Egypt and how He leads us on our own “Great Escape” from sin to freedom in Christ.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the week.  We’re already looking forward to next year!
